A Heart for the Youth

As God equips leaders in South Asia, many people are hearing the gospel! One of these indigenous leaders is Samesh. Samesh is a young leader in India with a heart to share the gospel with his people. He recently had the opportunity to attend a training hosted by some of our partners, and he was challenged to work alongside a local people group that had no Christians sharing the gospel among them.  

Specifically, Samesh was passionate about working with the younger generation. He believes in the youth, and as they put their faith in Jesus at a young age, the possibility for their kingdom impact is endless.  

Back home, God led Samesh to develop a relationship with a few youth in the community. In time, he shared the gospel with them. Conversations and questions turned into salvations and celebrations when three of the young people put their faith in Jesus.  

Despite ongoing challenges from Covid restrictions, Samesh continues to use his training to find creative ways to reach out to these youth. He started a Bible study, and his group has increased to fourteen youth. Think about that today, fourteen young people in a culture and community that knew little, if anything, about Jesus, all opening Scripture together to discover more about God and His love.  

Samesh is now connecting more leaders so that they can multiply themselves into nearby communities and other people groups who know little, if anything, about Jesus.
