In the midst of devastating conflict, Gaza’s small Christian community has been pushed to the edge. Many families are sheltering in churches, struggling just to survive.
Through your partnership and the work of faithful local believers, hope has broken through in the form of clean water, food, and practical care.
Local partners recently made it possible to provide clean drinking water for 800 Christians sheltering in two churches.
One local leader in Gaza shared how important this blessing is to these families…
“This water supply is so precious and essential for them, as drinking water is very scarce and very expensive. We helped the two churches fill their water wells. This will help the Christian families and their children have access to clean water for one month.”
But the care didn’t stop with water. Provisions reached around 100 families in Gaza, giving them canned food, diapers for babies, hygiene items, and even fresh fruits and vegetables – an incredible gift in a place where resources are increasingly scarce.
One of the most moving initiatives was the creation of micro-work opportunities for believing families.
Since many bakeries were destroyed, local Christians were given the means to bake bread using traditional ovens. This provided food for displaced families and dignity for those who longed to serve others in their time of need.
Relief also extended to Gazan families temporarily displaced in the West Bank while their children underwent life-saving heart surgeries in Israeli hospitals. With homes in Gaza destroyed, these families found comfort, fellowship, and the practical love of Jesus through the care they received.
Out of these efforts to provide for physical needs arose opportunities to minister to deep spiritual needs.
Families gathered to share meals, hear Bible stories, and receive prayer. One grieving mother, who had lost five relatives in a bombing, came with her young son – fresh from heart surgery – to find encouragement and joy.
Through these moments of care, you are helping to shine the light of Christ brightly in the darkest days. Families who have lost everything are experiencing His love through the hands of local believers – and through your prayers and partnership.
Thank you for standing with your brothers and sisters in Gaza. In their suffering, they are reminded they are not alone.
